Responding
The Conversation
There are listeners and talkers and l tend to be the talker in most conversations.
In order to know the other, conversation is key.
In my unconventional world conversations are audible, written, gestured to carry the message through,
In my unconventional world conversations are audible, written, gestured to carry the message through,
just for a response.
Imagine doing all you can to collar attention from the other
yet still they walkaway.
When in the same room no acknowledgment comes your way.
Write to them a thousand times still no response.
Rescue them forever and a day still no response.
The Response
Eventually turning to You they pick on how much you don't know them,
How much You don't see them,
How much You do not love them.
They do not know You have been right there since in the mother's womb.
They do not know You have been right there since in the mother's womb.
They do not see how by day You Shine through the sun,
By night You paint the sky with countless stars.
They do not know You laid down Your Life on a wooden Cross
By night You paint the sky with countless stars.
They do not know You laid down Your Life on a wooden Cross
demonstrating Your love.

Let Him speak to me.
Acknowledge Him,
Give Him all my attention.
There is One who awaits your Response.
Will you write to Him.
Gesture His way,
Will you write to Him.
Gesture His way,
Speak to Him,
Listen to Him?
There is One who awaits to Converse with you.
